Before I start, let me mention that I work in traditional allopathic medicine so I tend to be a skeptic about ‘miracles’ in accordance with my traditional training. So the examples that I’m going to relate have certainly made me question what I thought I knew about faith and spirituality.
Just a couple of months ago a six year relationship ended. As expected, I was in significant distress. I chanted traditional mantras I already knew with minor relief from the painful emotions I was experiencing. I was on my way to becoming a basketcase. While surfing on the web reading about mantras, I happened to come across a Siva Baba YouTube video and I clicked on it out of curiosity. Just listening to him talk for four minutes relieved my pain greatly. I was able to get up and function, i.e. eat, go to work, engage in my usual hobbies and routine without any problems after that. Most importantly, I found it very easy to not react to my partner’s manipulative behaviour.
Soon after, I started chanting ‘kleem’ and Om kleem Dattatreya Siva Baba’ and I noticed people, especially men, were being a lot friendlier to me. Salespeople at counters, people in elevators and many others. I certainly wasn’t any friendlier than before.
And finally, I developed a lump on the side of my face along my lower jaw, a couple of months ago before I had ever heard of Siva Baba. It was small initially, but it started to gradually grow. I did what a lot of people do and put off seeing the doctor because I was afraid. By the end of last week it had extended from my jaw to my ear. Now I knew I was in trouble and would have to see my doctor but again I tried to put it off. It just so happened that I started the Om Dram Dattatreya Mantra in front of Siva Baba’s image, not thinking about my face at all. After two days of chanting the lump has almost disappeared and by the time I get in to see my doctor there will be nothing to see I’m sure.
I really can’t attribute all of this to anything other than the blessings of Sri Siva Baba which I somehow managed to invoke. All the suggestions he made that I put into practice, basically his mantras, were available for free online.
