My Family had gone out to dinner and while walking home, my sister saw Dattatreya Siva Baba. I had just taken her to an event with Datta in New York. We gave bows of respect and I did chants of “Om Dram Dattatreya Siva Baba.” We all felt his Shakti (Energy and Love). It was a miracle encounter in itself, to be on the streets walking and see Datta. We all felt so energized and very happy.

My family started laughing and even putting their arms around each other. Such joy in my heart for my family to receive this unexpected Blessing. Then my niece asked me, “Who is that Man?” I replied, “My Guru. Do you know what a Guru is?” “Yes,” she said. “Auntie, when we walked by I noticed him, and I feel like I know Him.”
