2011`July-August was a very turbulent period in our lives.My husband underwent a minor surgery for removal of piles. But for reasons unknown to us he started bleeding profusely, pulse rate fell and his ECG exhibited variation. I was totally devasted when the doctor who performed the surgery was baffled and gave up. It was the day of karkada vavu in Kerala and doctor told me to pray. I was by my husband’s side as blood transfusion was going on. It must have been around 12 midnight when I started reading Dattathreya Kavacha. I read it whole heartedly and sincerely but crying miserably. At the end of the kavacha i fell into a trance like sleep. I remember seeing a hazy vision of a yogi appearing and sitting in yogic posture on my husband’s legs. I tried to wake up but could not. How long I was in such a trance I am not sure. But the bleeding stopped within the next twenty four hours.The doctor himself has not been able to explain how this happened. But I strongly, very strongly believe that it was Dattatreya who came in the form of a yogi and saved my husband. Om Dattathreya Namaha!!
