Datta sent out an email warning of a planetary alignment on April 18, 2005, that there was danger of a huge tremblor. He asked everyone to light candles and to chant “Om Siva Baba” all weekend. I saw a newscast that said the first earthquake on Friday was a 5.1 in Bakersfield and that a second one of about a 10.2 was expected that week. I really don’t spend my whole life at Disneyland, but I was there that weekend at California Adventure. They have this 3-D ride, “Soaring Over California” where you fly over the entire state and see all the sights from North to South. I decided to make it into a ritual and so I chanted “Om Siva Baba” and blessed the entire state.

Baba appeared in my third eye very clearly; “I love you. I love you,” I heard him say. I broke into tears. “You are doing well with your practices. I am going to take care of you. Do not worry.”

There was no earthquake that week. Later I found out Baba had secretly checked into a hotel alone in Los Angeles and he had taken the earthquake into his body. He then got very sick, but he had saved all of us.
