Datta has bestowed gift after gift to me … gifts that He has offered many times – yet I childishly dismissed them. I took Him, the one that I perceive as the all-knowing God, and all that He offered for granted.

Please humor me for a moment while I explain. It was yesterday morning when I was awakened … where the garbage was removed from eyes. It was only then that Datta showed me how I have taken His Grace for granted and have abused all that Datta has offered to me.

Incorrectly, I was not performing any of the remedies or rituals that Datta taught over the years. My ego lashed out saying that there was no reason to, that Datta was taking care of it all. It was yesterday morning that my ego was put to rest. I found that performing the basic practices that Datta shared with his students time and time again placed me back on the path.

It was yesterday morning where my day started off in such a painful place that Divinity came in and literally kicked my butt. I went down to the convenient store and purchased 27 lemons. The following were the rituals / meditations that I performed throughout the day on Sunday.

• Vibhuti on forehead, throat and shoulders (This was done through out the day)

• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - I will work with “xyz company” making “xyz amount of money”
• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - Om NamaSivaya Namaha - I will have $10,000.00 by the end of this month
• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - Om Dram Dattatreya Siva Baba Namaha
• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - Om Kleem Parvatiye Namaha
• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - Om Shreem Lakshmiye Namaha
• Chant with Rudraksha Mala Beads 108 times - Om Aim Saraswatiye Namaha
• Printed out Goals for 2008 and put them in Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom and Living Room for easy view
• Placed Vibhuti in containers in Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom and Living Room for easy application
• Ah Mediation – “xyz company” Job on Monday
• Printed out Horas (Planetary Hours) for the week and planned my week out based on Rahu Kala, Yama Kandam and Kulikai
• Write 108 times - I will work with “xyz company” making “xyz amount of money” and placed as a necklace for Hanuman - Listened to Vasi track from Dancing with Siva
• Write 108 times – Bring weight back to normal range and placed as a necklace for Hanuman - Listened to Vasi track from Dancing with Siva
• Visualize my financial reasonable goal “xyz amount of money” and internally chant Vasi
• Fell asleep to the Casual Mediation visualizing “xyz company” Job on Monday

As the day went on, there was a huge shift and my energy was changing for the better.

This morning, I woke up at 3:30AM to do all that I could with performing the rituals and meditations. I received a phone call from the job that I had an interview with on Monday. I called them immediately after another interview that I had this morning. They informed that I had the job and asked me to come down to fill out all of the necessary paperwork. It is not completely ideal, but it is a job and the annual salary meets my reasonable goal for 2008. I am scheduled to start this job in “The South Bay Area” on January 22nd. I thought that I would continue the job search since so much has been awakened inside – to see if there is something more suitable for me (a job within the city).

After coming back from “The South Bay Area”, I checked my mail. My mailbox was full. I had not received any mail in the last 6 weeks from my previous apartment – although I have put in several change-of-address forms and the post office has sent the confirmation letters. I grabbed what seemed like 3 handfuls of mail and headed up to my apartment. I headed straight for the kitchen – as I had worked up an appetite and I could tell I was getting a little irritated. I had put all of the mail on the kitchen counter.

As my hands moved away from the various letters, one piece of mail slipped out and fell to the floor. I picked it up and placed it back on the pile – not paying any attention. The same piece of mail slid off the pile and fell back to the ground. By this time, I was getting a little irritated…I just wanted to make some lunch/dinner. So I picked it up and placed it on the pile again – this time with some force – hoping that it would stay – when I did that I looked down at the letter and it was address from Cobra Insurance. I was drawn to open it…I am not sure why…as I had received something from them when I left my previous job and had declined the coverage.

I opened it to find that “payment was accepted” and I had coverage. I was bewildered by this…and was extremely curious on where did this ‘payment’ come from…I went back and forth on this…do I ask those questions – how, why, etc? Well, I did – I called them up and when they read back the payment details – I was even more flabbergasted as it came from my checking account. This stumped me even more…is it once again that money has been deducted from my account right under my nose? I went online and looked at my bank statements at the date that the transaction was made…there is no record of it…none at all.

After dinner, I wanted to make sure that I performed a second Ancestral Ritual before sunset. Back to the kitchen I went to grab all of the items based off of the new Tarpanam instructions. When I went to reach for the 3 coins that I had previously used, I was once again mystified as 2 of the coins where missing…I am not sure what the meaning is of the 2 missing coins…but I felt that I should make mention of this.
