The Fall 2007 Muruga and Nadi Remedy Trip Changed My Medical History, by Mary and Bill, USA
Healing Illness, India Trip MiracleWe all know that Datta speaks often about how we think in linear terms; humans think everything has to happen in linear fashion; we have a past, a present and a future. I went to India with a past I regretted creating. This was my first India trip and I was eager to do the Temple remedies to repent of my sins and clean up my karma.
I don’t like going to the doctor and I don’t like medical tests, especially ones which are “icky.” Despite my doctor’s recommendations and my husband’s urging of six years, I never did the colonoscopy screening that I was supposed to get every five years. It had been more than ten years since I got the screening. This was foolish because I had precancerous polyps removed in prior screenings. I deeply regretted not doing the surgery and was worried about the outcome, especially if it meant my husband had to bear the burden of expensive medical care. So, I made a presurgery appointment with my husband’s surgeon, for December 2007.
The November 2007 Muruga and Nadi Trip to India was very special: we did the remedies prescribed by our Nadi Leaves. We visited many holy temples and vortexes dripping with love and healing. I had no energy at the beginning of the trip and by the end of the trip, I was overflowing with energy and life force.
When we returned home from India, I prepared to go to my appointment. My husband helped me by printing out my old medical records so I could take them along for filling out forms. Suddenly, he calls me to me excitedly: “Holy cow. look at this!” He says, in total amazement: “you had a colonoscopy five years ago.” and here’s the results! We are both dumbfounded. Neither of us remember the test, or the doctor, or the outcome. We can’t figure out how this is in my records! It must be a mistake! But somehow there are three files, where there were none before. According to these records, I had the test done in 2003, with color photos, a surgeon’s signature, my signature and an outcome letter that states everything was normal. Now, both of us have good memories. But neither of us remember this surgery at all.
We both go to the doctor appointment and we’re both thinking ‘how can this be?’ I never had this performed! I’ve never seen this doctor! When I meet with the doctor, I know I’ve never seen him before and I’d definitely remember if he did a colonoscopy on me.
As he discussed what needed to be done, he accessed my medical records on his computer. Electronic copies of the same three files we found on our computer appeared on his computer screen. These were the only files for me that he had on his computer and they show he performed a procedure on me five years ago and that the results were normal. He says, ‘we must have been changing computer systems and that’s why we lost your patient history records.”
Both my husband and I just sit there and look at each other and we know. My medical history is now different. The doctor then says to me: “well, we can’t find your medical records, EXCEPT for these results and this photo!” He doesn’t seem to remember me either, but he’s confident in these files which definitely have my signature, his signature, photos and a benign outcome. So, he has me fill out a new patient form and history, which had somehow been lost, all except for the surgical results, which are in his files. I’m going to have the next screening in Spring 2008.
Before I went to India, I didn’t have the test for more than 10 years. When we came back from India, my records now show I had the test five years ago. Both my husband and I swear this happened and we’re realizing that anything is possible.
