I got cast in a very funny musical in Hollywood, playing a witty theater queen. I decided to chant to both Goddess Saraswati, who watches over the arts, and also to Datta before each show. I asked them to please come inside me and do the show. After all, once when Datta was in England he asked a devotee to take him to Shakespeare’s grave in Stratford and when they got there he said he was so happy to be there because he had spent a lifetime as Shakespeare! How fabulous can it get?!

So I asked Saraswati and Datta to bless me. I just let go. The audience laughed at every line. It wasn’t me! And there was such love on stage between the actors and I could feel Datta’s great smiling presence inside thar theatre! Glorious!
