I have great news to share. My brother in-law is now cancer free. I know in my heart it is a mracle of the Divine, with Dattatreya Siva Baba’s Grace.

A little background on my beloved brother in-law Maurice, who goes by Moe: Moe was born Jewish, and raised orthodox. When Moe’s father died, Moe was in the eighth grade, but he had to quit school to run a small retail business. As an adult he took his GED, learned five languages, put his two brothers through college, and to this day, helps his sister and her family financially.

Moe worked to expanded his business to become a millionaire. As we know: wealth does not buy Health. Just two months ago, he was diagnosed with advanced cancer. The prognosis was not good, and he started tradition Western medicine treatment. I asked him if he was open to being placed within a healing circle of my Guru Dattatreya Siva Baba, and he said, ’sure, why not.’ Moe thanked me for my concern.

He was placed within the global healing circle, (the healing circle receives Dattatreya Siva Baba’s Blessings and is a group of students of Datta’s teachings as we place ourselves and loved ones into the circle). During this time, I also attended a meditation group with a facilitator empowered by our Guru. Weekly we practice Datta’s chants: and when we would chant “Jyoti” (God’s Light and Grace) “Ara Kara” (Removing Doubt) and the Miracle mantra, I focused on Moe being cancer free and I asked Datta for a miracle.

Before the traditional cancer treatment was even completed, Moe’s doctors informed him there are no more signs of cancer. He is still tired and is going to complete his treatment. Moe is very happy to have received this great news and feels very blessed.

Moe’s fourteen old son was so moved by the news of his father’s diagnosis that he wrote a song from his heart. His friends wanted to sing it. They formed a ‘rock band’ with him as lead singer. They set up a MySpace, got noticed and were asked if they would like to do a performance for charity with their songs with five hundred people attending. They are now creating their first paid performance and having fun creating their very own music.
