From elementary school to high school is a big step, and can sometimes be nerve-wracking. Thanks to Dattatreya it was easy and exciting for me. I auditioned to go to an arts school in the Drama program. Along with an amazing arts program the school also has an excellent academic record. I really wanted to be accepted into the high school and in the drama program but they only take 50 students into the program, so I wasn’t sure I would get in. I prayed to Datta everyday to help me get into this school.

At the same time, I was also auditioning at the same school for the dance program and found a private teacher to help me. After a few classes she asked me what dance school I was trying out for. I told her what school and she said she had been to the same high school. We were taking about the dance program and then I told her I was also auditioning for the Drama Program. It turns out she had been in the Drama Program when she was there. She then offered to help me with my audition monologue which made a huge difference in my performance as I really had no previous experience in doing anything like this.

I can be a shy person but thanks to the Mind Sound Technology Techniques and Datta I overcame my shyness. During the audition group work, when we do improv and other activities to break us out of our shells, I was having fun and not worrying about being shy. I had the courage to be myself and be relaxed. This in itself was a miracle for me.

I was ecstatic the day the envelope came addressed to me from my high school. I ripped open the envelope and read the letter the first thing I did was run around the house yelling “I made it!”. I was so happy, and when I settled down I smiled and thanked Datta for listing to my prayers like he always does. I have now completed my first semester in the drama program and absolutely love it; I have met the most amazing friends and am growing so much as a person. Thank you very much Datta for this wonderful miracle.
