Datta’s Tarpanam Ceremony Saved our Dog’s Life

I’m a new member who joined Dattatreya’s YouTube fans in May. I remember writing to Datta and expressing how I wanted to help my ancestors (He mentioned Tarpanan in several of his YouTube videos: (Datta’s video on Soul Genetics). Anyway, I received a message back from Datta to do Tarpanam on a certain date: I think it was the 8th moon. I went and purchased the Black Sesame Seeds, and the rice and I got the instructions of how to do it from SivaBaba.org. I also ordered some Dharba grass.

That day was very different from any day. There was a resistance to our Tarpanam from something. A thunderstorm delayed our trip home, we had to pull over because the rain, wind, lightening pummeled our car.The rain hurtled down, the lightning hurled around us, a wind roared like we had a tornado near by so we waited a while.

So, we managed to get home from the vet, the weather cleared up a little and we went out in our back yard to do our first Tarpanam. We did our Tarpanam as instructed and as we did it, together, we heard our little dog suddenly cry out a wimper, look happy and then sit comfortably.

She had been terribly ill at that time and we thought we might lose her; she was slipping away basically. I didn’t even thinkto tell Datta about that.

Well, then the sun came out. My husband said, “Did you see? She looks like she’s feeling better!” I said wow, good. The next day, she was totally recovered. The vet said she had never seen a dog recover so fast and that she had thought she might even die and here she was, with no symptoms at all.She was eating. She was happy. She’s at my feet, even now, content. We ended up spending lots of time at the vet and vet hospitals, following up on her, with these results: she is well, all tests are normal. She was originally diagnosed w. kidney failure, then the vet changed the diagnosis to pancreatitis, and now the diagnosisis now officially ‘unknown’, because she was healed instantly. Since then, we didn’t pursue more invasive testing, because she is healthy. It’s now January 2008 and this miracle occurred in May 2007. Our dog is still well and scampering around with lots of joy.

I didn’t expect this. I forgot that when we ask our ancestors to bless us, THEY DO! in unexpected ways. They were happy we were helping them.Thank you to Datta for creating this simple ceremony and Blessing our ancestors.

On the day after the Tarpanam, all of our flowers bloomed! The rose bush had no blooms the day before and on the day after the Tarpanam, blooms everywhere. The rose bushes continued to bloom for several weeks, and ended up bowed down, heavy with lush blooms. We had glorious weather for weeks after that. And every day in our yard felt like heaven. I found myself spending lots of time, hanging out with the dogs in the yard.

We continue to do daily Tarpanam and I’m going to learn more about it from http://Sivababa.org . Here I was, someone who just was watching Datta’s videos and trying out his techniques and then WHAM, miracles all over the place!

Dattatreya has said He is here on the earth plane to bring miracles and that this Year 2008 is the Year of Miracles. He will heal the world and everyone. Dattatreya is here to help us know the voice of God within each of us. That is the real magical miracle.
