Last spring I went to an event with a woman guru. Her name escapes me now, Kuruna Ma or something like that. She had a beautiful singing voice. At one point during the program when she was singing, I saw Dattatreya Siva Baba on the stage. He had the red bandana on, which I now associate with miracles or some sort of action. I was excited to see Datta’s image there.

Earlier I had made a prayer to the mother for something that I wanted for myself.

The next day, I discovered that a miracle did occur. It was not what I had prayed for, but was something I could not see, yet absolutely needed. The next morning I kept hearing and then saw the spirit of a dear friend. I was made aware that she had been cured of cancer the night before. I had not even known that this condition existed, but later it was confirmed.

This gift was amazing to me on so many levels in that he saved my friend and me, before I even knew to pray about it. He is ever present, ever knowing, always loving and always guarding our souls. I love you, Datta
