The other night as I was praying in front of my altar, I felt a clear connection from my heart to God (Datta). I was happy to stay in this place for minutes just feeling love of God and God loving me. Then, a column of light came down on my head and flowed through my body. I felt the spirit of Datta, Yogananda, and Lahiri Mahasaya nearby saying, this is your lineage, this is your path, you belong to us, you are one of us. This is the path of love. These were “impression” words. I felt totally blessed to be in that Light and feel their presence with me. My heart was full of love. They showed me a new perception of energy in my body, too, that was one of compassion.

These blessings are for everyone. The only thing I did was to say, “God, Thank You, I love You.” Jesus teaches us to use our one eye. That is the eye that loves God. I hope you feel happy to read that a simple person like me can have a beautiful experience of God. This means that it is open to all of us. That is my prayer. When I am in India and see the people in the villages there, and especially the children, I am in awe of their continuity of feeling of love. The spirit of love is common among them and is so wonderful to experience. That commonality and community of love is what can happen all over this planet, extending out into the universe. That is what I pray for. I love Datta and love this message that He gives to us: to love unconditionally. Om Dattatreya Siva Baba Namaha!
