I reside in Singapore. My 10 year old daughter was due for her regular school health check-up. I was required to take her to the Health Promotion Board along with her health booklet that detailed all her previous vaccines etc., and I have been missing all her appointments as I could not find her health booklet (this is since April 2009). The school informed that they have returned the health booklet and all relevant papers in April 09 itself.
I have been reciting ‘Om Gurunamashivaya Dhram Dattatreya Siva Baba Namaha’ 108 times since the 20th august, to help me ease my financial crisis.
Finally on 24th Aug ‘09, the Health Promotion Board gave an ultimatum that I have missed several appointments and would give me one more appointment on 27th Aug’09. For some reason, I readily accepted and made all arrangements to take my daughter (despite not having the booklet). On 25th Aug my daughter came home in the evening complaining that she had cleared her desk and could not find her composition papers. I helped her look for it and could not find her papers.
Suddenly frustrated, I just got up and looked at her desk. There it was !!! On a totally clean and clear desk lay the Health booklet as if someone had placed it for me to notice and pick it up.
As usual, I thought my daughter had it all along and yelled at her for hiding such an important book from me. She looked totally blank and didn’t understand what I was talking about as she had never seen such a book before and didn’t know how it got there!
Wow…i just made it to the appointment right on time perfectly and completed all the formalities smoothly.
