I seriously injured my back on June 27, 2009. With the help of Dattatreya Siva Baba, I experienced a miraculous healing. On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, the 4th day since the injury, I continued to suffer intense pain. Even with the use of a cane, it took an hour for me to physically get out of bed. The pain would often almost drop me to the floor and I could only get out of a car with the help of my wife. Late that afternoon, I went to see my primary care physician. He immediately sent me to the hospital emergency room. There, they confirmed I had suffered a soft tissue injury. This means I had either injured the muscles or the ligaments or both, that help to support my back. At the request of Baba, a priest of Lord Hanuman (also known as an Angel Reader) called me from southern India the next day (Wednesday) at midday my time. Over the phone, he divinely determined that I was suffering from karma passed down through my ancestors. He said he would do remedies in a temple over the next 3 days. He said this would help a lot and that I should report to him in 3 days on my status.

That day, I only took only one more round of the pills the hospital had given me. On Thursday (July 2nd), I did not need to take any more pills and by Friday, I was completely out of pain and resumed my normal level of activity. On Saturday (July 4th), I loaded our luggage into the car, and drove 6 hours to attend a Guru Purnama event in New York. I made this trip with out any pain or discomfort. At the event, I had a chance to personally thank Baba. It has now been more than one month since the injury and I have not had any more pain.
